Harminder and Divya chose to have their wedding at the Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall which is one of the largest Sikh temples outside of India, known for its grandeur and significance in the Sikh community.
For her wedding day Divya wore a stunning Green and Gold Lehenga which was intricately embellished with gold embroidery, sequins and zari work. To complement her Lehenga, Divya wore exquisite jewellery including a statement necklace, earrings, tikka, nose ring, bangles and other pieces of jewellery that held cultural and sentimental value. Her hands and feet were adorned with intricate mehndhi designs to signify auspiciousness and beauty.
Harminder wore a magnificent cream and green Sherwani paired with green churidar (fitted trousers) and wore a gold turban adorned with a kalgi (cultural and religious jewelled ornament).
The reception was held at East Winter Garden in Canary Wharf. It was a grand and opulent affair, combining traditional Indian customs with the modern elegance of the venue. The East Winter Garden, a spacious and versatile event space was well-suited to accommodate the large gathering of guests.
The reception featured a sumptuous Indian feast with a variety of delectable dishes and the guests were treated to a diverse spread of appetisers, main courses, and mouth-watering desserts.
The reception featured a blend of traditional Indian music and modern tunes played by the DJ. The guests were encouraged to hit the dance floor and celebrate the joyous occasion with dance and merriment.
